We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our founding team. As an early contributor, you will play a key role in building the company and pursuing Yem’s long-term vision: helping creators grow their audience and increase their earnings.

• Back-end: Python (Django), Celery/Redis, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Front-end: JavaScript/TypeScript (Create React App and Next.js)
• External APIs: Stripe, SendGrid, Ghost, Substack
• Other tools: GitHub, Linear, Heroku, Vercel, Sentry.io

Requirements

• Experience using Django/Python and React/Typescript
• Understanding of REST APIs and experience building backend and frontend apps
• Familiarity with the rest of technologies listed above is a huge plus
• Effective communication skills and advanced level of English (written and spoken)
• Ability to act with autonomy and build in an environment without a lot of management
• Resourcefulness, creativity, and desire to learn when approaching challenges
